Michaelle Barnes

Michaelle Barnes is a wife, mother of 4 and proud grandmother of 1.  She works full time for a General Aviation company in Arlington and part time for her husband’s air conditioning company in Azle. After 4 years of training, an ACL reconstructive knee surgery, and other adversities, Michaelle became a 1^st degree Black Belt on July 8^th 2006 and a 2^nd degree Black Belt on October 6^th 2007. What a wonderful experience and a feeling of accomplishment.

Michaelle knew early on that what she really wanted to do was to teach and share this with others.  She has been an Assistant Instructor since 2002 and is currently the active instructor of our Lighthouse Christian Academy, River Oaks, and Azle Programs.  Michaelle is very excited about her continual Martial Arts training with Legends Martial Arts.

Grandmaster - J. Pat Burleson  

Founder of Legends Martial Arts

    Mr. Burleson has featured stories about his achievements in local and U.S. news magazines, movies and TV. He is a movie and stunt actor with regular appearances on the C.B.S. television show, "Walker, Texas Ranger." He widely travels the world as a speaker and trainer. Currently, he is the special training and motivational coach for the Sac State football team.

    His school (dojo) was not only a Dallas/Fort Worth pioneer that was established in 1959, but was one of the original karate schools founded in America, with over 250,000 graduates to date.
